Pacific First Aid Ltd. in Vancouver, BC is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role plays a key part in supporting the daily operation of our warehouse, including administrative, logistics operations, and inventory management.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Administrative and Customer Support
· Prepare Daily Operational Reports to the relevent personnel
· Maintain updated data in internal inventory management system and database
· Provide administrative support to the warehouse
· Update order status with client
2. Logistics Operations
· Manage receiving and shipping activities
· Coordinate with Order Picker for order fulfillment
· Prepare shipping documents and quality check prior to shipping
· Schedule pickup with the transportation carriers and follow up the tracking status
· Coordinate with internal departments for the smoothness of daily operation
3. Inventory Management
· Conduct regular cycle count and adjust the inventory discrepancies
· Maintain the accuracy of data in inventory management system
· Rationalize the layout and management of the warehouse, plan the storage space and adjust the location
· Monitor the inventory level and replenish the stock with vendors
4. Others
· Responsible for the safety and protection of goods and personnel in the warehouse
· Ad hoc duties as assigned by the Management
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
· High school diploma
· Fluency in English
· Ability to lift/carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds, climb ladders without assistance
· Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
· Analytical and detail-minded with decent problem-solving skills
· Comfortable working in a cooler environment
· Good command of MS office
· Previous warehouse experience as an asset
ADDITIONAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
· Ability to operate a powered pallet jack and/or forklift
· Previous experience in a produce related field or wholesale field as an asset
· Fluency in second language is an asset
