Benefits Highlights
Answers service calls for corrective maintenance on various utility plant equipment. Is responsible to the supervisor for maintaining current repair parts inventories and for the procurement of required mechanical equipment and parts. Demonstrates solid knowledge of all utility mechanical systems. Performs all assigned responsibilities in a safe, thorough and timely manner. Maintains a valid state issued driver's license. Adheres to all Mayo Clinic and departmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications EDUCATION: High school diploma or Graduation Equivalency Diploma required; trade school preferred. EXPERIENCE: Two years' experience in mechanical repair and three years' experience in repair of building equipment and systems.
COMPETENCY: Provides transcripts indicating prior attendance in classes, seminars, workshops and other continuing education as appropriate to display an effort to enhance professional knowledge and job skills specific to utility plant mechanical systems operations.
