Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a **SMH Allied Sterile Processing Tech - Evenings** to work at a Facility in **Rochester, NY.** These are _registry_ positions with our company.
This is a travel position located in Rochester, NY and they need to be over 50+ miles away to qualify for this role.
Traveler Hrly Rate $15.05
Gross Wages $602.00
Traveler Lodging $434.00
Travel M&I $189.00
Total Travel Stipend $623.00
Total Travel Pkg $1,225.00
Blended Rate $30.63
**Duties:**
+ Clean, decontaminate, and disinfect surgical instruments and equipment.
+ Inspect instruments for damage or wear.
+ Assemble and package instrument trays according to surgical needs.
+ Operate sterilization equipment (steam, low-temp, etc.).
+ Monitor sterilizer cycles and maintain accurate documentation.
+ Restock and organize sterile storage areas.
+ Deliver sterile trays and supplies to surgical and clinical areas.
+ Follow strict infection-control and safety protocols.
+ Track and manage instrument inventory and missing items.
+ Communicate effectively with OR staff regarding needs or shortages.
+ Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the department.
**Qualifications:**
+ **Minimum one year (12 months) of experience as a Sterile Processing Tech**
+ A valid and current license issued by the state of **NY**
+ A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
+ Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients.
