Job Title: Travel Physical Therapist (Outpatient Rehab)
Location: Fort Myers, FL 33912
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Monday–Friday | 8-Hour Days (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Pay Rate: $2,333 Weekly Gross
Radius Rule: Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Travel Physical Therapist to join an outpatient rehabilitation setting in Fort Myers, Florida. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality rehabilitative care, helping patients restore mobility, improve function, and enhance overall quality of life. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients with physical impairments or functional limitations.
Provide hands-on therapy to improve mobility, strength, and balance.
Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
Educate patients and families on exercises, safety techniques, and at-home rehabilitation strategies.
Document all patient interactions and treatment details accurately in the Epic EMR system .
Maintain compliance with state licensing requirements, healthcare regulations, and facility policies.
Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Required:
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient rehabilitation setting.
Active Florida Physical Therapy License (current and in good standing).
BLS Certification (AHA) .
Epic EMR experience (1 year minimum).
Preferred:
Prior experience in a travel or contract therapy role.
Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
