For 9 years, we’ve had parents’ backs as they navigate the parts of parenthood you don’t usually see on the ’gram with honest and raw messaging to provide the answers to questions they didn’t even know they had. And, we’re just getting started.

How You Will Make an Impact

Frida is looking for a Senior Director, Events & Experiences to join our Marketing team and help drive brand awareness through owned events, trade shows, speaking engagements, conferences and collaborations and partnerships with celebrities and brands. This work will extend across all of Frida’s brands. 

Responsibilities to include:

• Spearhead event planning for consumer-facing events including Frida Pop-Up shops, press events, and more
• Manage and execute launch events and our annual trade show plans domestically and internationally
• Liaise with the People team for internal office events
• Seek out and manage brand partnerships with celebrities and other brands 
• Collaborate closely with the broader creative marketing function including campaign strategy and social to build robust channel strategies for events and partnerships
• Lead planning and coordination for CEO speaking engagements and conferences (working with our PR agencies and center office teams)
• Manage and leverage agency partnerships, planning protocol, aesthetic decisions, and more to be more efficient with each event
• Lead promotional/celebrity gifting 
• Assist and manage additional events as they arise, working with all cross-functional teams to ensure a successful event

What You Will Need

• Bachelor’s Degree required in marketing, advertising or communications preferred
• 8+ years of experiential and event marketing experience 
• Strong track record of building and managing relationships with agency partners
• Ability to produce events on time and on budget
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
• Exceptional people skills and high level of empathy; ability to build and manage relationships with both internal and external partners
• Proficient at Microsoft Office applications & G-Suite
• A deep appreciation for pop culture
• Ability to travel and work with differing time zones

Who You Will Work With

Frida is an organization that values collaboration and community. As the Senior Director, Events & Experiences you will work closely with Marketing, Sales & Sales Planning, Brand Management, and People teams.

Our Ways of Working

Frida HQ is located in Miami, Florida and approved roles have the flexible option to work remotely both Mondays and Fridays with the benefit of connecting in person Tuesdays - Thursdays.
