Overview

We are seeking an experienced RN Nurse Manager to lead our Mother Baby Unit at a highly respected Southern California medical center. This role is ideal for a compassionate and dynamic nurse leader with a background in obstetrics and a passion for excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage clinical operations within the Mother Baby Unit
• Supervise and support nursing staff
• Promote best practices and ensure high standards of patient care
• Collaborate with leadership to meet departmental goals
• Drive patient satisfaction and quality outcomes

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field
• California RN License (active)
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• Experience in specialty area (OB, postpartum, or L&D)

Preferred:

• 2+ years of clinical experience in Mother Baby/Postpartum/L&D
• 2+ years in a nurse management or assistant nurse manager role
• Master's degree in Nursing or a related field

Candidate Profile

• 2 5 years of RN experience total
• 1+ year of RN experience in a hospital or acute care setting (excluding training)
• 3+ years of direct RN clinical experience in a postpartum or labor and delivery unit
• Leadership background in women's health strongly preferred
