Scion Technology has been engaged to lead the search for a Remote QA Tester Database Migration on behalf of our client,a mission-driven, nonprofit organization that provides professional credentialing services for behavior analysis practitioners. This is a
contract-based opportunity with a highly respected organization that is committed to high-quality systems and public service. Youll be joining a close-knit team during a critical time as they ensure data accuracy and system performance following a major database migration.
Compensation & Benefits: - $45 - $50hr DOE
- 2 month contract position

What You Will Do: - Test system functionality and user workflows following a recent database migration
- Validate data accuracy and consistency using SQL queries and compare results to pre-migration datasets
- Document and report bugs or discrepancies using standard QA tools (e.g., Jira)
- Collaborate closely with developers, database engineers, and analysts to resolve issues
- Conduct regression and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure systems meet business requirements
- Confirm post-migration system performance and stability
- Maintain detailed and organized test plans and documentation
What You Will Bring: - 2+ years of experience in QA, software testing, or a related technical role
- Ability to write and execute basic SQL queries for data validation
- Strong attention to detail with a systematic approach to testing and troubleshooting
- Experience documenting test cases and using QA bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
- A proactive and collaborative attitudeyou love solving problems as a team!
- Bonus: Familiarity with Azure DevOps, automation tools, or experience in post-migration QA is a plus
