Job Description

Acara Solutions has a Relay Production Specialist Operator job in Garden Grove, CA.

Our client is a leader in the semiconductor industry. Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of experience as a Production Specialist Operator. A successful candidate will be skilled in assembling, potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, and sorting. The Pay rate is between $21.00-$22.00 p/hr. DOE 

Relay Production Specialist Operator job responsibilities include:

• Read work orders, follow production routes, drawings, and sample assemblies
• Receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed. 
• Interprets Routes, drawings, work instructions, and rework instructions from engineering.
• Interprets Routes, drawings, work instructions, and rework instructions from engineering.
• Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cement, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
• Mounts assembled components, such as transformers, magnetics, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets, on chassis panels.
• May connect components lead wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.
• May install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
• May perform intermediate assembly tasks, such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, sorting, and color-coding parts, and assemblies.
• May perform on-line go-not-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 2 years' experience in assembling, potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, sorting 
• Must be able to interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions for Relay design.

• Must have strong written and oral communication skills. Reading blueprints, written instructions, process/procedures, and other instructions.
• Must have the ability to understand and execute verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals using manual or electronic calculator methods.
• Must be able to lift 10 lbs.

Additional Information:

• This is the 1st Shift -5:30 am - 2:00 pm
• Must be able to pass Background and Drug Screenings
• Must meet ITAR requirements
