Job Title: Project Engineer II (Pharmaceutical Industry Only)
Location: Remote
Pay Range: $50-54/hr on W2 (Only W2)
The MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) Engineer is responsible for supporting activities such as requirements gathering, testing, implementation, and use of MES in a manufacturing environment. The role requires a combination of supervision and autonomous work.
Key Responsibilities SafetyPerform all work safely and in compliance with training requirements.
Develop technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and process automation systems.
Manage and resolve equipment breakdowns and quality issues.
Provide SME support for process equipment design and operation.
Conduct technical analyses including:
PI data analysis
CIP/SIP circuit reviews
Flow path analysis
Code review/troubleshooting
Assist in technology transfer for new processes into the facility.
Complete change request lot assessments for lot release.
Participate in IPT/JPT meetings as MES representative.
Plan and execute plant projects involving automation and process improvements.
Execute and simulate test scripts (dry and wet testing).
Own and complete change request tasks for project implementation.
Perform change request assessments.
Assist Quality department in deviation investigations.
Participate in RCA activities as MES representative.
Assist with the completion of CAPA actions.
Participate in quality risk assessments.
Review and revise SOPs, Functional Specifications, and work instructions due to CAPA, process changes, or error prevention.
Review and approve MES-related batch records.
Author and review test protocols.
Education: Bachelor's Degree (Required)
Experience: Previous experience in MES and/or process automation within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
