Job Description

About Rugiet Health: Rugiet Health is a fast-growing, direct-to-consumer telemedicine company revolutionizing men's and women's health. We are committed to democratizing access to best-in-class compounded medications through a bespoke digital experience, combining luxury service with clinical excellence. We are a disruptive force in the US healthcare market, constantly innovating to provide personalized solutions for a healthier, more fulfilling life.

The Opportunity

Rugiet Health is seeking a customer-obsessed Product Designer to shape intuitive, high-performing digital experiences across the entire user journey—from first click to ongoing care. In this cross-functional role, you’ll design the experiences that drive conversion, onboarding, personalization, retention , and satisfaction —helping users navigate personalized telehealth in a seamless, trusted way.

You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Growth, Engineering, Clinical, and Marketing teams to launch rapid experiments, optimize key UX flows, and ship designs that balance performance with empathy. You’ll be empowered to move fast, test often, and obsess over quality at every step.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in high-velocity DTC environments, loves blending data, design, and storytelling , and has experience owning design across web, intake forms, checkout flows , and member-facing portals . Bonus points if you’ve worked in healthcare, wellness, or other regulated spaces .

What You’ll Do:

Design End-to-End Product Experiences

  • Own design for high-impact, user-facing surfaces across the growth funnel (landing pages, intake flows, checkout) and member experience (onboarding, refills, subscription tools, support UX).
  • Design experiences that improve conversion, AOV, LTV, and retention through thoughtful UX/UI grounded in user psychology and behavioral insight.
  • Partner with PMs to translate qualitative research and experimentation data into clear design hypotheses and iterative improvements.

Experimentation & Growth-Driven UX

  • Collaborate with the Growth team to design consumer experiences that scale and improve performance metrics across marketing channels.
  • Craft modular templates for use in our Builder.io CMS to empower non-technical teams to launch and optimize fast.

Member Experience & Personalization

  • Help design tools and experiences that personalize care, reduce friction, and drive deeper engagement post-acquisition—across account management, refills, education, and clinical communications.
  • Design self-service interfaces that empower users while reducing support burden (ticket deflection, automated refill flows, etc.).

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with engineers to ensure designs are built to spec, performant, and scalable across form factors.
  • Work closely with Clinical and Compliance stakeholders to ensure healthcare-specific UX (consent, eligibility, safety) is clear, compliant, and supportive.
  • Maintain design documentation, patterns, and collaboration artifacts in Figma, supporting handoff and alignment with product and development.

Research & UX Insight Generation

  • Conduct light-weight research, usability testing, and competitive audits to inform design direction and validate design choices.
  • Use performance data (from tools like Domo, GA4, Segment) and insights from PMs to prioritize changes and guide continuous improvement.

What You Bring

  • 4+ years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products, ideally in DTC, telehealth, wellness, or another experience-rich vertical.
  • Proficiency in Figma and experience creating design systems, responsive UI, and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Experience designing within or alongside Builder.io, React, or headless CMS environments—and understanding how to create flexible, component-based design frameworks.
  • Strong portfolio that includes shipped web or mobile-first flows that drove measurable performance outcomes (CVR, engagement, retention).
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work closely with product managers, engineers, and marketers in high-speed agile environments.
  • Detail-oriented, systems-thinking mindset with a bias toward action and impact.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience in healthcare, telemedicine, or regulated environments with sensitive UX requirements (HIPAA, consent flows, clinical eligibility).
  • Exposure to growth design principles—iterative testing, creative strategy alignment, and performance marketing contexts.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing tools and working in data-informed design environments (Growthbook, Google Optimize, etc.).

Why Join Rugiet Health?

  • Impactful Work: Be part of a company that is truly disrupting the healthcare industry and improving lives by democratizing access to innovative, personalized treatments.
  • Growth Potential: Join a fast-growing, dynamic team with ample opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
  • Innovative Environment: Work on the cutting edge of telehealth, leveraging design to create a seamless, elegant, and luxurious customer experience.
  • Collaborative Culture: Be part of a passionate and supportive team that values open communication, creativity, and shared success.
  • Competitive Compensation & Benefits: We offer a competitive salary, performance-based annual cash bonus, participation in the company stock option grants program, health, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) program, generous PTO, private gym membership with company-paid trainer, and professional development assistance.

To Apply: Please submit your resume and a link to your online portfolio showcasing your product design work, process, and case studies. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
