Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Label, inspect, and package products using manual and automated packaging systems.
  • Operate and clean labeling and packaging equipment, including setup and changeover.
  • Accurately fill, assemble, and inspect materials under general supervision.
  • Perform weighing of materials in compliance with SMP/SOP tolerances.
  • Maintain clean and safe workspace following housekeeping and safety policies.
  • Accurately complete production documentation such as logs, batch records, and reconciliation reports.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues.
  • Communicate effectively with team members across shifts, orally or via written reports.
  • Move materials using material handling equipment as needed.
  • Identify the need for equipment repairs and report issues.
  • Work overtime when required to meet business needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Experience Required

  • Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in a regulated environment (e.g., GMP-compliant) preferred.
  • Experience in packaging operations and equipment handling is a plus.

Skills & Certifications

  • Ability to follow diagrams, charts, SOPs, and GMP standards.
  • Basic arithmetic and ability to read/write in English.
  • Competence in manual and repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
  • Effective problem-solving and basic troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to manage frequent task changes.
  • Basic proficiency in using PCs and Windows operating systems.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a repetitive environment.

Eligibilities & qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and understanding).
  • Must be able to maintain accurate records (manual and/or electronic).
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, follow established procedures, and use independent judgment as needed.
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime based on business requirements.
