The Operational Technology Services within the Intelligence and Cyber at Amentum provides Operational Technology (IT for Industrial Control Systems) services for internal and external clients across multiple sectors - from infrastructure to government needs. The group provides cybersecurity, design, implementation, maintenance, and consulting services for industrial control systems, building automation systems, transportation control systems, aviation control systems, and other various Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystems. This position will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of operational technology solutions with focus on cybersecurity, networking, firewalls, industrial security controls, cybersecurity policy and program development and consulting across. This position will provide leadership in areas of cybersecurity, with minimal direction and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders as needed. The candidate has a general understanding of advanced networking (switching, routing, segregation (VLAN's), subnets, redundancy protocols), network perimeter security, intrusion detection systems, network behavioral analytics (anomaly detection) solutions, cybersecurity, Microsoft Windows, Active Directory. This position will be responsible for promoting solutions, design, implementation, support and maintenance of technology solutions in the areas of Operational Technology (OT) including network security, networking, servers, virtualization, and other technologies.The position will require to participate, develop and combine variety of technology tools, assets and solutions, past performances, and cross-technologies in other to present and assist in design and selling of these operational concepts to existing or future customers. Our Technology Services Professionals: + Suggest, Implement and maintain technology solutions based on proven security architectures. + Participate in the design, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of complex networks. + Understood the process in handling complex problems during design, installation and maintenance for ICS elements and networks. + Understood the functionality network switches, routers, firewalls, virtualized servers, converged platforms, client workstations, and various cybersecurity platforms and tools. + Support projects to achieve or surpass client expectations for quality, schedule, and budget. + Participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost, and scheduling performance. + Interact with clients, business groups, vendors, and subcontractors. Travel to project sites to support ICS networks. + Manage and maintain converged platforms, virtualization, networks, security platforms, and various other OT technologies. + Provide detailed network, cabling, server, rack elevation, and logical architecture diagrams for design and as-built submittals. Develop acceptance testing procedures and user manuals as needed. + Provide professional OT and cybersecurity consulting services for internal and external clients. + Perform cybersecurity vulnerability assessments and penetration testing **Position has no physical requirements for geographical presence.** **This is not just an information technology (IT) position.** **The position requires understanding of Information Technology (IT), Operational Technology, Internet of Things (IoT) and Industrial Internet of Things Technology (IIoT).** **Requirements:** + Minimum 5 years of OT experience with LAN and WAN design, implementation and troubleshooting for switches, routers, firewalls and various another network equipment required + 5 years of IT or OT cybersecurity experience required **Preference will be given to candidates with the following skills and experience:** + 1 to 2 years industrial network experience + Excellent oral and written communications, team-oriented work practices, strong data-analysis skills, technical problem-solving ability, organizational skills, multitasking ability, and excellent computer skills + Experience with the development of technical design documentation and technical reports **Preferred professional accomplishments are such as the following:** + Creative solution developed and utilizing variety of digital tools and solutions + Ability to qualify, pursue and organize work on opportunity pursuits + Networking certifications (i.e. CCNA, CCNP etc.) Amentum's health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you and in the things you care about. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
