REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Emergency medicine procedures within standard NP/PA scope
• Basic and advanced emergency stabilization
• EM practice consistent with ACLS/ATLS
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Alabama license required
• Board: Board Certified
• DEA: Alabama DEA required
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS
• Experience: Emergency medicine experience required
• Other Qualifications: Ability to perform in a high-volume ED; Epic EMR experience preferred, ability to work 12hr shifts
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide direct emergency care during assigned clinical shifts
• Manage patient evaluation, treatment, and disposition in the ED
• Collaborate with attending physicians and specialty services as needed
• Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation
• Participate in hospital orientation and EMR training prior to first shift
