Medical Billing/Coding Specialist – Full-Time Opportunity in Central Nebraska

A short-term acute care hospital near Columbus, NE, is seeking a dedicated Medical Billing/Coding Specialist to join their team!

Medical Billing/Coding Specialist Pay:

• Salary: $20–25/hour
  

Medical Billing/Coding Specialist Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  
• Full-Time | Direct Hire
  

Medical Billing/Coding Specialist Responsibilities:

• Bill patients, insurance companies, and third-party payers (Medicare, Medicaid, Workers Compensation, etc.)
  
• Re-work denied claims and manage collections/accounts receivable
  
• Process secondary claims and handle insurance follow-up
  
• Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS)
  

Medical Billing/Coding Specialist Qualifications:

• Experience with ICD-10, CPT, or HCPCS required
  
• Office experience in a medical clinic or hospital setting required
