Betty Lou Cruises seeks a skilled marine mechanic for its fleet of two motor yachts on Madison’s Lake Mendota. These cruises entertain guests with delicious food and a complete bar for groups of two to ninety-two guests. One vessel is a 52-foot gas powered 2003 Bluewater powered by two Mercruiser 496 Cu. In. inboard engines and with a Westerbeke gas genset. The other is a 578 58-foot 1989 Bluewater diesel powered by two Cummins a pair of Detroit 5.2 L V-8 inboard engines. This vessel is equipped with a Vectron inverter and battery system and a battery powered genset.

Requirements:

• Applicants should have a thorough knowledge of Mercruiser engines, diesel engines and related marine systems and components. 
• You will need to have your own tools and diagnostic equipment. 
• All work will be done on-site at our marina on the north side of Lake Mendota in Madison, WI.

Job Type: Part-Time with some weeks requiring Full-Time hours.
Compensation: $165.00 - $235.00 per hour (Depending on experience, flexibility of schedule, time of service, and performance).
