Independent and commission-based stylists wanted for Immediate Hire!

ZKUTS, located in the Westland Shopping Center on W. Broad St. is looking for licensed Hairstylists and Barbers to join our diverse and team-oriented salon! IMMEDIATE HIRING due to growing client base! Our ideal professionals will bring creativity, great energy and be informed of the latest hair trends and techniques.

Are you skilled in any of the following?

• Multicultural natural hair
• Ombre or balayage coloring
• Extensions
• Locs & braiding

Responsibilities

At ZKUTS, you will be responsible for creating innovative hairstyle designs and providing customers with exceptional hair care services. You will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have in-depth understanding of different styling or barbering techniques.

• Provide professional hair care services which include hair coloring, haircuts, perms, hair treatments, hair extensions, blowouts, styling, locking
• Maintain a clean and professional work area
• Educate yourself on current and upcoming hair trends and techniques
• Stay up to date on the latest hair care products and styles
• Understand and adhere to all sanitation and safety standards
• Customize hair styling to meet individual client needs
• Listen and interact with customers to ensure satisfaction
• Build a strong relationship with repeat clients

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years of hair styling experience
• Ability to perform all hair care services with accuracy and efficiency
• Knowledge of different styling techniques and products
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Passion for the hair styling industry
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends (commission)
• Current state cosmetology license
