Job Description

Salary: $108,100 - 180,600 per year Requirements:

  • Currently possess an Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or have equivalent relevant experience.
  • Have 8-10 years of pertinent experience in the field.
  • Maintain an Active Security+ CE certificate or have the ability to obtain it within 90 days of joining.
  • Exhibit proficiency in React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
  • Have experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Be familiar with Git or other version control systems.
  • Possess the ability to analyze, refactor, and enhance legacy applications.
  • Have familiarity with Linux (RHEL) administration and update management.
  • Have experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum or XP methodologies.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance.
Responsibilities:
  • In this role as a Senior Web Application Developer with us at AMERICAN SYSTEMS, you will have the chance to:
  • Modernize and uphold web applications to enhance scalability and performance.
  • Write modular code using React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Refactor outdated code to decrease technical debt and improve readability.
  • Create dashboards, workflows, and visualizations for data-driven applications.
  • Optimize SQL queries to ensure database performance and security.
  • Define and deliver scalable solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Work in Agile environments, including Scrum, XP, or Kanban methodologies.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
  • Provide actionable reports and analytics to support informed decision-making.
  • Maintain, modernize, and refactor web applications for enhanced scalability, performance, and maintainability.
