Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle databases

• Manage backups, recovery (RMAN, Data Guard), and ensure high availability (RAC)

• Optimize performance, queries, and configurations

• Implement robust security, access controls, and auditing

• Integrate with enterprise identity providers (e.g., Entra ID)

• Design efficient schemas, indexes, and partitioning

• Support production incidents and root cause analysis

• Automate with Shell, Python, or Ansible

• Align with CI/CD workflows and compliance frameworks (SOX, NYDFS, GDPR)

• Handle migrations, patching, and version upgrades

Nice to Have

• Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra)

• Exposure to cloud (OCI, Azure, AWS) and Infra-as-Code tools (Terraform, Kubernetes)

• Ability to support multi-database hybrid environments
