CREATIVE DIRECTOR

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

As our agency grows out in the US we're looking to build a network of social-first Creative Directors to support our growth. 

We usually work with Freelance Creative Directors on short-term contracts, sometimes to support our project work or to lead the creative on a pitch.  

Ideally, you've got experience delivering a conceptual creative role in social, with experience on the in-house or agency side.  Specifically, we're on the lookout for these things:

• You've got at least 7+ years of experience in a conceptual creative or creative strategy role, with strong social experience 
  
• You have a track record of pitching and delivering industry-leading creative campaigns, rooted in cultural relevance and social insights.
  
• You've had experience working with and delivering creative direction and campaign ideation for big-name global brands
• You are a confident decision maker and able to creatively problem solve to course correct quickly and clearly
  
• You have impressive deck creation and presenting skills

We would love it if you're based in New York City and can spend time with us in our office on occasion and attend key client meetings and presentations when you're working with us.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Our Freelance Creative Directors predominantly support short-term projects or pitch works for Born Social, which usually includes:

• Creative Ideation: Translating strategy into big creative campaign ideas, social-first always-on formats, and successfully collaborating with our in-house teams, pitching award-worthy Creative work to current and potential clients
• Creative Direction: When within an account leading the oversight and direction of all creative output and delivery
• Brand Guardianship:   When within an account you'll maintain consistency across all of the creative output, ensuring everything ladders up to the overall direction of a client's social (and wider marketing) direction
