Job Overview Valtex LLC is seeking an experienced Framing Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial framing projects. The Superintendent will manage day-to-day construction activities including wall framing, floor and roof trusses, sheathing, hardware, and specialty scopes. This individual will coordinate crews, subcontractors, and project schedules while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and budget expectations. The ideal candidate thrives in a hands-on leadership role—balancing professional communication with owners and contractors while also being willing to put on a toolbelt and work alongside the crew when needed.

Key Responsibilities - Oversee and manage framing field operations for commercial projects.
- Coordinate and supervise crews and subcontractors to meet schedule goals.
- Review plans, layouts, and construction drawings; identify and resolve conflicts before they impact the project.
- Manage project logistics including schedules, material deliveries, and inspections.
- Conduct daily site walks, track progress, and maintain productivity.
- Enforce and maintain site safety standards, conducting safety meetings as needed.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, owners, and general contractors.
- Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports and documentation.
- Lead by example—assist in field work when necessary to keep schedules on track.
Qualifications - 5+ years of experience supervising framing construction on commercial or large-scale residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of multi-story wood framing, roof construction, and commercial building codes.
- Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Proven ability to lead diverse crews in a bilingual environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Valid drivers license, insurable driving record and must have reliable transportation.

Schedule - Full-Time
- Monday - Friday
- Weekend work as needed per project schedule
Work Location - Based in Fort Myers, FL
- Projects primarily in Southwest Florida; travel may be required for certain jobs with per diem provided.
