Mayersohn Law Group, P.A. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bilingual (Spanish/English) Family Law Paralegal to join our dynamic Fort Lauderdale team. In this full-time, on-site role, you’ll support Family Law attorneys through all phases of litigation, from drafting pleadings and coordinating discovery to preparing financial disclosures and assisting with trial preparation. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of family law experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is fluent in both English and Spanish. Responsibilities: • Drafting and preparing pleadings, subpoenas, affidavits, pretrial orders, motions, and legal briefs • Coordinating with process servers and managing discovery • Conducting legal research and organizing findings to support hearings and trials • Preparing and analyzing financial disclosures and statements • Interviewing clients to gather case information and provide procedural guidance • Maintaining organized, accessible case files and tracking deadlines • Assisting with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness coordination, and client meetings • Communicating and meeting with clients in both English and Spanish to gather case information, address procedural questions, and provide exceptional service. • Utilizing legal tech tools such as Clio, Family Law Software, Zoom, VoIP phones, and timekeeping platforms Qualifications: Ideal candidates will demonstrate: • Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience in family law • Completion of an ABA-approved paralegal program (preferred) • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Extremely detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to meeting deadlines • Proficiency with legal research databases, Microsoft Office, and case management systems • Comfort with standard office equipment (scanner, copier, printer) • A proactive, independent mindset with a collaborative spirit • Fluency in Spanish We believe in hiring top performers who align with our values and thrive in our culture.
