Job Description
SUMMARY: Responsible for the evaluation and coordination of cardiac rehab patients in regard to Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3. This includes charting, developing an individualized education and exercise program, monitoring the patient's progress, and communicating with physicians.
Required Education/Training: Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or Exercise Science
Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS; ACLS and successful completion of hospital EKG course within 6 months of hire
Preferred Experience: Experience with cardiac rehab or corporate wellness; experience with working with special populations; experience with basic EKG interpretation
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: ACSM certification
