We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Events Assistant to join our team in Kansas, MO. The ideal candidate will support the planning and execution of corporate and private events, ensuring each project is delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations. This role is perfect for someone with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for events and coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and coordinating events from start to finish

  • Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams

  • Maintain event documentation and logistics schedules

  • Help manage event setup, execution, and breakdown

  • Monitor inventory of event supplies and materials

  • Coordinate on-site staff and volunteers during events

  • Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and client-specific requirements

  • Provide post-event support and reports

Qualifications



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or related field (preferred but not required)

  • 1-2 years of experience in event planning or administrative support

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic event management tools

  • Ability to work evenings or weekends as needed for event schedules
