**Overview** GovCIO is seeking a highly skilled ETL Database Developer to support the management and maintenance of the Veterans Affairs IT infrastructure. This role manages data models and database systems, optimizing storage, retrieval, and implementation processes. This position leads database architecture, resolves advanced issues, and drives performance enhancements. This position will be fully remote located within the United States. **Responsibilities** + Direct and oversee the selection, implementation, and configuration of software, hardware, and network infrastructure for database management systems. + Establish and maintain high standards for database tools, administration protocols, and best practices, ensuring operational excellence. + Lead efforts to monitor and apply critical SQL Server patches and updates, guaranteeing system security and reliability. + Architect and drive the development of data models and access layers that enhance new product capabilities and scalability. + Strategize and implement robust backup solutions and database replication protocols to ensure data integrity. + Tackle complex technical challenges with a visionary mindset, delivering innovative and forward-thinking solutions. **Qualifications** **Required Skills and Experience:** + Bachelor's with 12+ years (or commensurate experience) **Preferred Skills and Experience:** + Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools. + Certifications in relevant technologies. **Clearance Required** **:** Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust \#TAPS **Company Overview** GovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT. Posted Pay Range The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors. **Posted Salary Range** USD $130,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.
