Note : Work Hours: Standard hours (M-F 8-5). This position may require periodic weekend team coverage. Travel Requirements: Negligible. Top 3 Keywords: 1- AutoCAD Drafting & Drawing Management 2- SolidWorks (2D/3D Modeling & Conversion) 3- Engineering Drawing Vault Systems (Meridian)

Top Required Skills:

• AutoCAD proficiency
• Field verification of facility-related drawings

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Ability to store, create, and modify electronic and physical drawings
• Ability to field verify and update facility-related and as-built drawings
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with general direction
• Ability to follow drafting procedures and guidelines
• Ability to quickly learn new drafting systems, tools, and processes
• Ability to collaborate across departments and engineering teams

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• SolidWorks proficiency
• Drawing management system experience
• Meridian or similar drawing vault experience
• AutoCAD Electrical experience
• SharePoint experience
• 3D printing and plotter support experience

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Manage drafting documents and services for the HaKY plant, including storage, creation, and modification of drawings
• Maintain and execute documented drafting policies and procedures
• Administer the Meridian drawing vault and manage drawing requests and check-outs per IA policy
• Verify and update as-built drawings through field inspections
• Provide drafting system training, support, and 3D printing/plotter assistance
• Collaborate with HaKY and Division Engineering teams to ensure cohesive drawing management

Requirements:

• Certified Drafting Technician or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of drafting or engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Availability to work standard hours (Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM)
• Ability to provide occasional weekend coverage as needed
• Minimal travel required
