Etico LLC provides centralized business services—Accounting, HR, Safety, and Risk Management— to a group of four affiliated construction companies operating across nine divisions. Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee all financial operations and directly perform Controller duties for Etico LLC and the companies we support. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for managing Accounting, Human Resources, Safety, and Risk Management across multiple entities. You’ll work closely with ownership and senior leaders to shape financial strategy, maintain compliance, and build scalable internal systems.
What You'll Do
Lead financial planning, reporting, and budgeting for four companies across nine divisions
Perform hands-on Controller duties including payroll, AP/AR, GL, and job costing
Oversee and guide Accounting, HR, Safety, and Risk Management teams
Ensure compliance with all tax, licensing, labor, and safety regulations
Implement and maintain internal controls, policies, and financial systems (Spectrum)
Work closely with ownership to support strategic business decisions
What We're Looking For
10+ years of financial and accounting leadership in the construction industry
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and oversee multiple departments
Deep knowledge of construction financials, WIP, and job cost accounting
Hands-on experience in Spectrum (or similar ERP), payroll, and compliance
Detail-oriented, high-integrity, and comfortable rolling up your sleeves
CPA or MBA is a plus, but not required
Pay & Benefits
Salary Range: $150,000+ DOE
