Summerfield of Hammond is looking for dedicated and compassionate CNA's and RA's to provide the highest standard of care excellence to our residents. Work each day in a unique, rewarding environment with a culture that values teamwork and support with room for growth. We have openings for the Evening Shift (3pm to 11pm). Base Rate $12.00 to $14.00 hourly with a Shift Differential on the weekends.
Responsibilities include: - Assisting residents with ADL's and various forms of daily care according to their specific needs
- Monitor and document vital signs per policy
- Assist in maintaining resident care records by documenting timely and appropriately in the electronic record system
- Provide companionship and positive interaction daily with residents
- Work with other departments to provide a full scope of care to our residents daily
Skills - CPR certification
- Ability to take vital signs, document and report to nursing staff as applicable
- Prior experience in working with geriatric population if preferred
- Physical ability to walk, stand, bend and lift
- Must be able to socially interact with with resident in a compassionate and meaningful manner
- Dependability, punctuality and good work ethic is an absolute must
Job Type: Part-time
Base Rate - $12.00 to $14 hourly with a Shift Differential on the weekends
