Diagnose, repair and install major residential appliances (refrigerators, washers/dryers, ovens, etc.) in shop and field settings.
Key responsibilities
Perform electrical, mechanical and refrigeration diagnostics with multimeters & gauges
Order and replace faulty parts; verify operation and customer satisfaction
Maintain accurate work orders, parts usage and warranty documentation in mobile CRM
Educate customers on proper appliance use & basic maintenance
Follow EPA Section 608 guidelines for refrigerant handling where applicable
Rotate after‑hours/on‑call duty for emergency service
Typical requirements
1–3 years appliance or HVAC/electro‑mechanical repair experience
Valid driver’s license; ability to lift 75 lbs
EPA 608 Type I or Universal certification preferred
High‑school diploma/GED; manufacturer or community‑college certificates a plus
