**Overview**
The Utility/Floor Technician position provides the shampoo carpets, waxing, stripping, polishing and buffing floors.
**Pay Rate** : $21.00 to $21.00 per hour.
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
**Shift: 6pm - 2:30am Monday - Friday**

Position Summary Details:
The Utility/Floor Tech position provides the cleaning and maintaining carpets and hard surface floors clean.
Essential Functions:
* Floor person is responsible for cleaning and maintaining carpet and hard surface floors, including stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, sealing and spot cleaning.
* Responsible for using safety measures in work areas.
* Duties also include assisting the Building/Account Lead with special projects including but not limited to, setups, breakdowns, move in/ move outs).
* Floor Tech must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.
Responsibilities
· Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
· Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floors
· Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment
· Drives vehicles (if required) to perform or travel to cleaning work, including vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners
· Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Must be 18 years of age or older
· Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available
Preferred Qualifications:
· Customer Service Experience
· 1 yr of similar work experience
