We have an exciting 1099 Medical Director/Attending Physician opportunity in Henry, Marshall, and Robinson, Illinois! This position offers a primarily remote work arrangement with only 1-2 onsite visits required per month.

About the Role:

As a 1099 Medical Director/Attending Physician, you'll provide vital medical and procedural consultation to residents, ensuring their care meets all applicable facility policies and federal, state, and local regulations. You'll play a key role in advising facility administrators on service enhancements, future resident care programs, medical equipment needs, and professional staffing. This is a chance to make a real difference in the lives of seniors while enjoying the flexibility of a contractor role.

What You'll Do (Medical Director Services):

Provide medical and procedural consultations to residents.
Advise facility administrators on service improvements and future care programs.
Offer guidance on medical equipment and staffing.
Maintain 24/7 availability for facility emergencies.
Attend monthly QA and/or QAPI meetings (at least 10 months annually).
Assist in developing clinical pathways for improved resident care.
Support facility marketing efforts as needed.
Collaborate with other attending physicians to ensure top-quality care.
What You'll Need:

Medical degree and licensure to practice medicine in Illinois.
Experience in skilled nursing facilities or with geriatric patients.
Deep understanding of relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
