Are you a physician seeking a rewarding opportunity with excellent flexibility? We're looking for a dedicated Medical Director/Attending Physician to join our team on a 1099 contract basis! This position offers a primarily remote work arrangement with only 1-2 on-site visits required per month to facilities located in Henry, Marshall, and Robinson, Illinois.

About the Role:

As a 1099 Medical Director/Attending Physician, you'll provide essential medical care and consultation to residents in skilled nursing facilities. This role offers the chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of residents while enjoying a flexible schedule.

What You'll Do:

Provide medical and procedural consultation to residents, adhering to all applicable regulations and facility policies.
Advise the Facility Administrator on ways to enhance services and develop future resident care programs, medical equipment strategies, and professional staffing plans.
Maintain 24/7 availability for facility emergencies.
Participate in monthly QA and/or QAPI meetings (at least 10 months per year).
Contribute to the development of clinical pathways designed to improve resident care.
Support facility marketing initiatives as needed.
Collaborate with other attending physicians to ensure residents receive the highest quality care.
What You'll Need:

Medical degree and licensure to practice in Illinois.
Experience working in skilled nursing facilities or with geriatric populations is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A commitment to providing compassionate, person-centered care.
Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
